The 1st Ultrasound!

So due to restructuring in my Ob office, I didn't get my 1st appointment until 15 weeks..gah! At that appointment I had a U/S to date the pregnancy. I was right on for March 7th..great! baby was all good, great! I was alone because Justin was home with the little kids, I cried seeing my sweet baby on the monitor! The tech then said you know, we now do a gender scan where the family can all come! What? That's awesome! And then said you can even come back at 16wks and have it done..That's next week! Sweet!

I have always had my U/S done after 20wks it was clearly early..but I did it anyways scheduled it for the next week. 

We all had lunch then went to the appt. The tech I had that day was not the same tech as before, and I did not get a good vibe from this lady. She tried on my belly first and nothing...she then chose the other way of a u/s...and after about 10 min. she said its a GIRL! Yay! But wait...I was staring at the monitor and certainly did not see what she saw. She then gave us 3 pictures that are not clear, are not telling and did not reveal anything to me. Insert...frustration!! Boo!

Now let me make this clear! It did not matter to me one way or the other! I have beautiful daughters and a handsome little man already! Which means, I am already blessed! Yes, a little boy would even out the house..but a little girl means I have so much stuff and I could finally dress my little girls the same..hair bows, dresses and lots of pink (which hello is my favorite color)!

So there will be another U/S at 21 weeks to confirm! I'm sure the tech is experienced in what she does..but I want to know who I'm talking to. I had 2 friends in the last 5 months be told at 16 weeks girl...and surprise at 20-21 weeks it's a boy. So pardon me if I'm a little Leary! 

I can't wait, I haven't been able to do any shopping yet because I'm just waiting until I know for sure! Here's the ultrasound pic I got..Its very confusing??
