Mentally Preparing for my life as a mom to 4!

Anyone who knows me, knows that I am a planner! I like to be somewhat organized and ready for anything. With that being said the planning has begun. So much goes into a new baby especially when you already have 3 kids!So this go round I'm doing something different! I'm starting super early due to the holidays and Macy's birthday!

I have already started Christmas shopping. I will still do my black Friday shopping, but hope to be done by Dec. 1st so I can sit back and enjoy the holidays without having to deal with all the madness!

And next will be operation nursery! I am super stoked to have a blank canvas in Macy's room ( we never really decorated because I really could not find any bedding that I liked)...But alas I have the sweetest ideas for a cute nursery/room for my little girls! I am super excited and can't wait to get started! But first I need a sewing machine and to learn how to sew!Ha :) But I decided to take ideas from Pottery Barn but on a scaled down budget! I haven't been this excited about a project in a long time..which means this is gonna be a good one!

Now the mental preparation. I am 110% hands on with my kids!Every single day! I think last year I was with them 362 days..Really!? so that doesn't really change with a new baby! Mentally my job as a full time mommy/wife is exhausting at times! I really have those days where I wish I was on a beach with drink in hand with my husband, not stuck inside with oatmeal on my mom sweats and applesauce in my hair! So since I am such a preparer I decided I would say ta ta for now to sleep, date nights, that beach trip, my super cute clothes from Express, and my time for reading! Yeah I know seems like a stretch but for me it isn't, I am more prepared and a better mom for accepting that those things will wait!

So for now I will be busy being the best wife and mom I can be! I look forward to growing right along with our family, embracing all of life's challenges and staying true to myself along the way..And by the way your girl will NOT be saying bye to my friend Coach and my afternoon pedicure's with the girls! Momma needs prizes too ;) Hit me up in 2029...All 4 kids will be 18! And by then my husband and I will be on that beach trip ALONE!
