Our action packed weekend.....
So Justin and I and the kids went back home for our 10 year high school reunion. First of all packing for a family of 5 takes patience, practice and planning. I usually start on Tuesday. But anywhoo we had a great time, it was nice to see some old faces. Because I have lived away for so long I really don't see anyone when I go home, so it was pretty neat to reconnect. I took some pictures but I think I was socializing alot as well.
On Sunday morning we were heading back to see Thomas the Train in Bardstown, KY. We finally told Chase Saturday that he was going and he was so excited! For anyone who doesn't know my son , he is 2 1/2 and all boy! He loves Thomas the Train, he really talks to the them and watches all the dvd's and he's just a fanatic right now. He was the same way with the Wiggles and we saw them in concert and he sat there speechless??? I mean he wouldn't speak or blink he was in awe, so I knew Thomas was sure to be a real treat!
And boy was I right! He loved it. The tatoos, the train ride, and the huge Thomas Lego display! It was really fun! I loved seeing the excitement through his eyes! I felt like I would feel this way if I were at a NKOTB( New Kids on the Block) concert. Just in awe!! So Macy also had her first train ride and she just drooled and cooed the whole way. Madison is a tween and was so over it! But I caught her smiling at her brother at few times... All in all it was a great trip! Justin and I had a fun date and the kids had fun. What more can you ask for?!
